Shiozawa Commercial & Technical High School is the only high school
in Niigata prefecture which has both Commercial Course and Mechanics Course.
It opened in 1963. Over 10,000 students have graduated from our school
and now work all over Japan and internationally.
Our school is located in Minamiuonuma-City, which has rich nature, long
history and tradition. We can enjoy the beautiful scenery with mountains
such as Mt. Makihata, Mt. Kinjo and Mt. Hakkai close to our school house
in all seasons.
Our students are working very hard to study and play sports in everyday
life.
２．Course Description
・Commercial Course
In this course, from the second year, the students choose a course from
selective course system and they study depending on their interests. We
promote education which will encourage students to master expert knowledge
and skills that is acquired in the IT economic society through this course
of study. We aim to develop students to be resourceful people who will
contribute to our society.
・Regional creation Course
In this course, students can choose optional subjects depending on their
interests from the second year so that they can realize their future career.
They study with the latest robots, automatic machinery and equipment. They
are able to learn not only the field of mechanical systems but also electrical
and electronic systems, and civil engineering. They acquire special skills
and knowledge through this study. We aim to foster students’ abilities
to become ready to enter the workforce soon after their graduation.
